Mount Moriah Conferences

Mount Moriah Conferences are tailored to local needs using a four-stranded approach.

Seminars are structured events featuring lectures and talks delivered by experts in their field. They share recent findings and lessons learned relating to particular issues and themes. Strategies and solutions are presented.
Workshops involve experts and those affected by particular issues, for example, menopausal hygiene in rural communities in Africa, or menopausal women who balance work and family in metropolitan centres in Africa and Europe.
Community events bring knowledge, skills, and solutions to the community. Local people take action.
Prayer and praise seal our work and involve people in all aspects of our ministry.

Build a better future

Following our successful Kenya 2022 conference, we are working on future conferences in Africa and the UK. We are exploring opportunities to share and minister in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

We invite church leaders, NGO’s, and those in the community to work with us to develop seminars, workshops, community action, and prayer and praise events that address social and health challenges for delivery in 2023, 2024, and beyond.

By working together, we can build a better future.

Conference planning and delivery

For multi location and more complex tours we use a 5 staged approach. This manages all aspects of planning, logistics, funding and delivery. It is in place to manage risk.

Contact

Contact between Mount Moriah and Conference sponsor is made. A discussion identifies opportunities to collaborate likely costs and benefits. A decision is made to proceed to the next stage.

Develop

An outline programme is developed along with a budget. A communications and funding plan is agreed.

Prepare

Planning and organisation of the conference is underway. Fundraising is generating money, Communications are generating interest. A decision is made to proceed.

Deliver

The conference, seminars, workshops and community events are delivered.

Followup

The programme is evaluated and next steps agreed.
