There is a great risk of diseases and infections spreading as copses were essumed as a result of the flood. Some were found floating in the surrounding water. If there is no immediate help, people will begin to die. They can’t afford healthcare treatments.
It is unimaginable to think that a lot of people are still living in houses filled with water and surrounded by floods. Brethren, we are talking about children, youths, young adults, adults, the aged, and the very old.
As you can see the time I write, I cannot sleep as I am thinking about the situation these people suddenly found themselves. I am very concerned, and the government is not providing any help.
Please, please, we need to help them in any little way we can. No amount is too small. Many do not have electricity. There is no clean water available so they have to purchase bottled water. Can you now imagine those that cannot afford to buy clean water, they are settling for the unclean.
The fear is that when the disease begins to spread it will affect other parts of Nigeria not currently affected by the flood.
Please, let us help them. Any amount will go a long way in relieving some of their problems. We don’t want an outbreak of disease which could become an epidemic.
Please help! Let us help them drink clean water. Let us help them eat as many are already starving.
This may happen to anyone in any state. Please let us come together and support them.
God bless you. 🙌
